![]() For medium to deep skin tones, this shade works best with a lighthand. If you’re into packing on the highlight, I think this will be the shade for you if you’re in the fair to light range. I think that Champagne Pop will look best on light to medium skin tones, but it still works for deeper skin tones such as myself. I’ll admit that although beautiful, I was a little hesitant because it looked like it might be too light for my skin tone. My guess is that it’s being marketed as a limited edition product, but may eventually turn into a permanent shade, which is why the packaging is the same as the others…but that’s just my guess. I do wish–since it’s limited edition–that Becca Cosmetics would have glammed up the packaging of the product a bit more than changing the box. It’s a beautiful white gold with peach undertones. ![]() I ended up getting it late in the afternoon, but I haven’t had it long enough to provide a mini review.Īs a first impression, the color is stunning in the pan. This is the product I was waiting for yesterday, which if you follow me on Twitter, know that it’s what caused the delay in this post being published. I didn’t want to or even plan on purchasing the product until I saw how gorgeous the shade was in a few snapchat stories of various YouTubers. ![]() I wasn’t someone who was anxiously waiting for the release of this product. While it’s beautiful, it will definitely look like a shimmery bronzer as opposed to a highlighter. It’s deep enough to pack on without looking like a beam of light is sitting on your cheeks.įor those of you with a lighter skin tone, I wouldn’t recommend this one. For those of you who love to go glam and pack on the highlight, I would say Topaz is the shade for you if you’re within the NC40-NC50 range. I’m someone who likes to apply makeup lightly even if I have a lot of products on my face, which is partly why I like all of the shades I picked up. It’s a beautiful golden bronze shade that looks subtle and effortless when lightly applied to the cheekbones. I’ve worn this one a few times already and of the three, Topaz is the most natural for women close to my skintone. Topaz is the original shade I wanted because of the deep tone. Now that you have a quick overview of all three, let’s get to my opinion on each shade. It’s also worth noting that while the price point is very high for a product that isn’t a necessity, the SSPs are so pigmented that you truly can just tap your brush lightly to obtain a nice glow. With Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector (which I’ll refer to as SSP through the remainder of this post), they all have a rich, smooth texture. Sometimes when you purchase an item in multiple shades, the formula can vary. Regardless of the shade you choose, I’ve noticed they thankfully all have the same consistency. The liquid version retails for $41 and comes with 1.7 oz (Also available as a travel size, 0.68 oz, in Opal and Moonstone for $19).The pressed version retails for $38 and comes with 0.28 oz.The pressed version currently offers a new shade– Champagne Pop–available for a limited time. Both products offer 4 color options: Opal, Moonstone, Rose Gold, and Topaz.Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Pefector comes in two options: Pressed and Liquid.I did extensive research (because the price point is so high) on the Becca Cosmetics Shimmer Skin Perfector products for a long time before I took the plunge. I purchased two highlighters–Topaz and Rose Gold–from Becca Cosmetics around two weeks ago because I couldn’t decide which one I wanted. However, not that it’s the summertime, I’m interested in establishing a summer glow routine. I’m late to the highlighter game because it’s not exactly something a girl with oily skin would gravitate towards. Not only is this a picture heavy post, but it might also end up heavy on the text…so, let’s just jump right in!
